"I'll be honest I'm not usually one for too much personal stuff on social media but thought I would share my 3 month progress!
The left of the photo is one week before I decided to get arse into gear and started attempting to shift the weight I'd gained over the last 6/7 years from bad foods, beer and a sedentary lifestyle. It was definitely a shock seeing the scale read 18.5 stone and a feeling that will motivate me for the rest of my life I think. The right of the image is from today, 12 weeks in, slightly sweaty mid-workout but 3 stone lighter.
With the help of Sam Watt and his solid nutrition plan (not a diet!) and training regime I've completely changed the way I live my life. Staying disciplined with my nutrition by eating good whole foods at the right times of the day while training hard when I'm in the gym. Never thought I'd wake up every morning excited to exercise!
This isn't a finished 'before and after' by a long way as there is plenty more to come! Roll on the next 3 months 💪."

I didn't just want a PT, I wanted the best, then I came across Sam. I can't explain how much Sam has transformed not only my body but my life. "Claire came to see me with aim of losing weight especially around her mid-section, tone up generally and to see results fast. She was doing a couple of 5km runs a week but no resistance training. I explained that if she followed my weight training, high intensity cardio & nutrition plans - designed for her and worked very hard she would expect to see fantastic results in less than a month. After our first session, which was a leg/butt workout - she was hardly able to walk for 3 days but came back for more....sorry Claire!

When I decided to leave my career in Information Technology behind and pursue my dream of becoming a personal trainer, I thought what better way to learn about the body than to transform my own. I decided at the beginning of 2013 that I would enter a natural body-building competition some time in 2014, in that time I've won 4 UK national overall titles, won the 2016 INBF International championship and attained my prestigious WNBF pro bodybuilding card. All within 3 years of deciding to compete!
It's been an enjoyable, educational and disciplined journey as my knowledge has increased several fold with regards to how the body/muscles work, nutrition to build mass and lose weight. Also, how far would I be prepared to push myself to the limit to achieve my goals as I'd be expecting from my own clients.
The two photos are separated by only 21 weeks - moving from off-season to my first competition of 2016. So as you can see I have managed to transform myself, I definitely practice what I preach!
